By creating happy moments, Brands On has an impact on people and planet. Our dream is to turn this into a positive impact. The roadmap in achieving this dream, consists of two pillars: climate neutral & social commitment.

Climate neutral

Brands On has the ambition to become climate neutral by 2050 and has the objective to reduce 25% by 2030. The first step in this reduction process is to calculate and provide insight into the CO2-footprint. For these calculations, we use the principles of the greenhouse gas protocol. Furthermore Brands On partnered with Anthesis to give guidance and advice in this project.

Social commitment

All shades, different shapes, united under our parasol. This is how we feel living the happy moments on a terrace. Everyone is free to join, our parasol brings people together.

All shades refer to all different colors existing in the world with different meanings; the skin colors, the LGBTQIA+ family as well as the various colors in parasols we offer.

The different shapes refer to different appearances of people, both in physical appearance and personality. Again, this also links to our different types of parasols and signs.

We see that people unite under our parasol, no matter which shade or shape they have.

Every shape with its unique shade is free to shine bright in our company and in the comfort of our parasol.

Corporate Social Responsibilty

We are pleased to confirm that Brands On supports the ten principles and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption. With this statement, we express our commitment to continuously integrating these principles into our own operations. Brands On ensures open communication with stakeholders and the general public. The annual submission of a Communication on Progress (COP), which outlines our company’s efforts to implement the SDGs, is a key requirement for participation in the UN Global Compact. We consider it important to report on our progress, and to do so annually in accordance with the Global Compact’s COP policy.
